Jedburgh is a picturesque small town, steeped in history where a friendly welcome awaits you. It is a great place for a break with plenty of b&bs, hotels and self catering accommodation and options for eating and drinking. There are also many attractions such as museums where you can learn about our Reivers ancestors, an arts centre and a swimming pool for the times when you are not exploring the countryside. Jedburgh is the home of many specialist shops if you need some retail therapy while you visit. Being on the A68, Jedburgh is only an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle and is only an hour from the A1 and M6 motorways. If you decide to come and ride the trails just for the day or make a break of it, Jedburgh is your ideal base.

Located in the Scottish Borders, on the edge of the Cheviots, surrounded by fabulous countryside, Jedburgh is a great location for a series of exciting trails for you to explore on horseback, by foot or by bike. Jedforest Trails has waymarked routes, using existing paths and creating new sections of trail, to make it easy for you to take advantage of the stunning views across the Border countryside.
